MEP Pros is a growing commercial services company serving Oregon and Southwest Washington through our family of brands, including Plumbing, Drains, HVAC, and Electrical services. We specialize in supporting multifamily, commercial, and property management clients with responsive service, expert solutions, and long-term partnership.
We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Business Development Manager to expand our presence within the multifamily housing industry throughout the Portland Metro area and Southwest Washington.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who already has established relationships within multifamily housing, property management, ownership groups, vendor management, or construction-related services.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on multifamily housing.
- Build relationships with property managers, regional managers, maintenance directors, ownership groups, and industry partners.
- Generate new service opportunities for Plumbing, Drains, HVAC, Electrical, and Leak Detection services.
- Identify and pursue new accounts while growing existing relationships.
- Attend industry networking events, association meetings, trade shows, and property management functions.
- Conduct property visits, lunch-and-learns, and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and activity tracking.
- Collaborate with company leadership to achieve growth goals and market expansion.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of business development, sales, account management, or relationship management experience.
- Experience selling services to multifamily housing, property management, commercial real estate, construction, or related industries.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Portland Metro area.
Preferred
- Existing relationships within the Portland-area multifamily industry.
- Experience working for a trade contractor, restoration company, construction firm, facilities services provider, or property management company.
- Familiarity with multifamily operations, maintenance challenges, capital projects, and vendor management.
