Job Summary
Experienced Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) — Front & Back Office (will train for front office)
Victoria S. Mosur DDS, PC is a general dentistry practice that has served the Lincoln, CA community for over 10 years. We're looking for an experienced dental assistant who can step into a busy, cross-trained role and contribute from day one. You'll work chairside with Dr. Mosur and work the front desk, so no two days look exactly the same. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA infection-control protocols
- Assist chairside during exams, cleanings, and procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient charts in Open Dental
- Cross-work at the front desk: scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and patient communication
- Support inventory tracking and supply ordering
- Uphold HIPAA confidentiality and infection-control standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a dental practice (chairside and/or front office)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start)
- Demonstrated competence in chairside assisting, sterilization, and radiography
- Experience with dental practice management software; Open Dental a plus (willingness to learn required)
- Reliable transportation and a consistent attendance record

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
