Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations using aseptic techniques.
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
- Utilize radiographic imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental issues.
- Stay updated with continuing education relevant to the field of dentistry.
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in New Hampshire.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, particularly in general and/or pediatric dentistry.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental coding and imaging techniques is desirable.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
