"Scrub tech" Certified Surgical Technologist
Position Summary:
Assists in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established federal, state, Quad A standards and center policies and procedures. Assists the surgical center in delivering the highest standard of patient care. New grads welcome to apply. No nights, weekends, Fridays or on call!
Minimum Requirements:
Completion of an accredited surgical technology program and national certification Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Operating room experience a plus but not required. Must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
- Effective communication skills: oral and written.
- Ability to assist surgeon during cases.
- Ability to organize equipment, instruments and supplies for cases according to patient needs and physician preference cards.
- Ensures that an adequate amount of supplies are available in advance for the weekly caseload.
- Ability to adhere to the work schedule and manage time appropriately.
- Willingness to assume additional assignments on an as needed basis.
- Willingness to learn. Demonstrates ability to work well with other employees.
- Open positions are Part time/ Per Diem on Monday -Thursday (6am-3pm).
- Potential full time position in future.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
