Green Chip is a full-service electronics waste recycler and nationwide leading provider of IT Asset Disposition (ITAD). We are seeking an experienced and dependable CDL A Truck Driver to join our growing team. This position primarily consists of regional routes with drivers typically home 2–3 days per week, with occasional longer over-the-road trips depending on business needs.
This is a full-time position that requires driving out on the road through the week.
You will be driving a company vehicle, this is not a lease. This includes modern sleeper cab with amenities and satellite entertainment.
Responsibilities/duties - but not limited to:
· Transporting material to and from our facilities and customer facilities
· Securing and inspecting all material to ensure safe transport
· Working with dispatcher to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
· Perform inspections on trucks and maintain DOT and OSHA standards and regulations – pre and post trip
· Maintain company vehicle – inspection, maintenance, cleanliness
· Document, organize and collect paperwork/BOLs/signatures from customers
· Record lanes and stops appropriately and accurately onto a logbook that complies to state regulations that details hours traveled, rest periods, miles covered, fuel and any expenses
· Interpret, understand and adhere to road signs/safety laws
· Liaise and coordinate with office HQ and warehouse logistic personnel
· Ability to identify and evaluate complex problems – attention to detail
· Provide support within a team and work a long side with facility operations
· Assist with loading and unloading truck from vehicle
Qualifications:
· Valid and active Class A Driver’s License (CDL)
· Minimum 5 years experience of driving
· Ability to navigate and understand truck routes – read GPS
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Adept in effective communication
· Basic numerical/math skills
· Being able to work long hours
· Pallet-jack & forklift experience is a plus
· Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
