As our project workload grows, we're looking for an experienced Civil Professional Engineer to join our team and help deliver high-quality engineering projects for clients in both Washington and Mississippi.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Civil Professional Engineer to join our Ocean Springs office!
You'll work on a diverse mix of civil engineering projects, supporting our established Washington workload while also serving as the lead engineer for Mississippi projects as our local client base continues to grow. Our work includes residential developments, commercial site development, and municipal.
This position offers the opportunity to manage projects from concept through construction while working closely with clients in a collaborative small-firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage civil engineering projects from proposal through construction.
- Design grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, roadway, and site development projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and construction plans.
- Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical engineers, architects, utility providers, permitting agencies, and other consultants.
- Review drafting work and provide technical direction.
- Respond to agency review comments.
- Support Washington projects while learning our design standards and workflows.
- Serve as the lead engineer for Mississippi projects as our local workload continues to grow.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Mississippi (Washington licensure is a plus but not required).
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
- Experience with site development, grading, drainage, stormwater, and municipal projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills Required.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
