Responsibilities
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks, personal vehicles, and commercial trucks in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws.
- Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices.
- Execute timely deliveries by following optimized route driving plans while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Manage the entire delivery process from loading, route navigation, to unloading at customer locations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging positively with clients during deliveries, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Utilize mobile devices for route updates, delivery confirmations, and communication with dispatch teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and manual handling activities throughout each shift.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate box trucks, commercial trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures including moving heavy loads and adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and commercial driving standards.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with route driving required.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy items regularly while following safety protocols; physical stamina for manual handling tasks is essential.

Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day
