Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Nights and Weekend Shop Manager to lead our operations during evening and weekend hours. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily shop activities, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staff, and maintain smooth shop operations. Duties
- Lead and supervise shop staff during night and weekend shifts, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high performance.
- Oversee daily shop operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and making estimates.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Manage inventory control processes such as stock replenishment, ordering purchasing supplies, and conducting regular stock audits.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, returns, and processing payments accurately.
- Handle administrative responsibilities by maintaining accurate records of sales and expenses.
- Enforce shop policies related to pricing, merchandising, safety protocols, and shop cleanliness to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with management and team members for seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or similar customer-facing environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in retail math, sales management, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Experience with POS systems, purchasing processes, bookkeeping, and retail marketing strategies.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
- Organizational skills with a focus on time management to meet deadlines and shift requirements.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
