Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Records Review Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing and reviewing legal records across various practice areas, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient case progression. Your expertise will support attorneys and legal professionals in delivering exceptional service by handling sensitive information with confidentiality and precision. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough review and analysis of legal records, documents, and case files across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, civil litigation, family law, and more
- Utilize legal case management systems such as PCLaw, iManage, and document management systems to organize and maintain case files efficiently
- Perform legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case development and procedural law compliance
- Assist with document review, drafting, proofreading, and editing to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to procedural standards
- Support attorneys with client communication by preparing summaries, updates, and correspondence while maintaining confidentiality
- Manage data entry, filing, and document management tasks with organizational precision
- Collaborate with team members on project management initiatives to streamline workflows and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Paralegal experience or legal administrative support background in a law office setting
- Strong knowledge of procedural law across various practice areas such as personal injury law, securities law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, patent law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, family law, general & commercial litigation
- Proficiency in legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with iManage or similar document management systems is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document processing and data management
- Attention to detail for proofreading and legal drafting tasks
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality work standards
