At The Best Rentals, our mission is to deliver an exceptional guest experience while ensuring every property we manage is cared for to the highest standard—and we’re looking for a Property Inspector who wants to play a critical role in helping our team sustain and elevate this mission.
The Property Inspector is responsible for ensuring each home meets our quality standards prior to guest arrival through detailed inspections and proactive problem solving. This role serves as the final quality control checkpoint before our guests arrive. This is a field-based role (Folly Beach) that includes traveling to numerous properties on a daily basis, while simultaneously using our digital systems to observe, report, and document your day-to-day tasks.
Inspectors thoroughly examine our properties to ensure cleanliness and proper setup, while also ensuring that all linens, supplies, and amenities are in place. It’s your job to help identify any housekeeping or maintenance issues and communicate them to the appropriate teams.
After our guest arrives, we return to the home with a welcome gift to greet them and ensure everything with the home is meeting their expectations and our standards. During this time, you may also assist with resolving minor concerns and answering property-specific questions.

This role is ideal for someone who loves staying very busy throughout the day, can efficiently organize and execute multiple tasks at once while working under a daily deadline, and is communicative & friendly to everyone they interact with. We are hiring for both seasonal and full time positions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure each property meets The Best Rentals’ quality standards prior to guest arrival
- Conduct detailed inspections that follows our guidelines to verify cleanliness, correct set up, and proper supplies
- Identify and report housekeeping and maintenance issues to the appropriate team.
- Use company software to document inspections, communicate with departments, and track property readiness.
- Learn property-specific details such as pool passes, parking passes, and key access
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a gift and ensure everything with their stay is as expected
- Assist with resolving an array of minor guest concerns or questions

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle and cell phone
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to climb stairs, be outside for short periods of time, and remain active throughout the day
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Availability to work weekends and holidays

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience
