Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Groundhand to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills in outdoor environments, working with heavy equipment and telecommunications technology. Duties
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of fiber optic cables, telecommunications network cables, and related infrastructure in outdoor settings.
- Assist with fiber optic networks and troubleshooting as needed
- set up traffic control signs, cones and direct traffic as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience in telecommunications or construction enviroments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cable management techniques.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment like bucket trucks safely while following all safety regulations.
- Must be able to work under all weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand, bend and lift over 25 lbs.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
