Overview: We are excited to announce an internal opportunity for a Painter in Huntley, IL. The Painter is responsible for applying paint, powder coat paint, and coatings to various industrial products and components in a manufacturing environment. This role involves preparing surfaces, selecting, and mixing paints, and ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety and production standards.
Essential Responsibilities:

Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.

Mask and tape areas to protect surfaces that should not be painted.

Inspect and repair surfaces as needed to ensure they meet quality standards.

Hang and/or remove parts on conveyor system for powder coat application process.

Mix paints, primers, and other coatings according to specifications and prepare paint equipment.

Apply paint and powder coat paint using various methods including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.

Achieve desired color and finish by adjusting paint consistency and application techniques.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Maintain accurate records of paint usage, inventory, and work performed.

Assist with other production tasks as needed to support overall workflow.

Maintain all in-process paint specific inspections.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1+ years of painting experience.

Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and equipment.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively and cooperatively independently and as part of a team.
