Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ventilator management and respiratory care, including nebulizer therapy, Cough Assist, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and PRN oxygen
- Manage G-Tube (MINI-ONE) feedings, care, and medication administration as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and perform ongoing patient assessments, reporting changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Implement infection control, disease prevention, and patient safety protocols
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing appropriate life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals on care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Assist with supervision and support of care activities as needed
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Valid and current LPN license in [Insert State/Country].
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
