We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in various medical settings.
Duties
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting during procedures.
- Maintain medical records accurately and ensure confidentiality.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with patient education and follow-up care instructions.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate laboratory services.
- Provide medical administrative support such as billing and coding.
Requirements
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Experience in a hospital, medical-surgical, OR, hospital medicine, dermatology, outpatient, or internal medicine setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.58 per hour
