We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that enhances our guests' dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, expertly handling food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu items based on guest preferences
- Maintain a clean, organized work station in compliance with sanitation standards
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
- Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to assist guests effectively
- Cocktail, spirits, wine knowledge, or bartending experience is highly desirable
- Open availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
