Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with placing take-out orders via phone or in person
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate order pickups efficiently
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery
- Maintain organized guest records, reservation logs, and order details for smooth operations
- Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing excellent customer service
- Support food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and cleanliness protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant reservation management or as a host/hostess preferred
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS platforms like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and order calculations
- Experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining organization and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices and guest relations principles
- Professional phone communication skills with courteous phone etiquette
- Organizational skills that support smooth workflow during busy periods
