Overview:
VTG is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Power Platform Developer to join our team at Patuxent River, MD. You'll be contributing to the development and enhancement of a critical software solution currently in development for the PMA-274 Presidential Helicopters Support Program. As a key member of our development team, you will help build, test, and deploy solutions that streamline business processes and improve overall efficiency. You will also play a vital role in providing ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the continued success of our solutions after deployment. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the development, configuration, and customization of applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.

Assist in developing impactful data visualizations and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

Participate in the design and implementation of Power Platform solutions based on defined business requirements.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Help test and debug Power Platform solutions to ensure quality and optimal functionality.

Contribute to documenting Power Platform solutions and providing support to end-users.

Provide ongoing assistance and support to end-users of Power Platform solutions.

Stay informed about the latest Power Platform features and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.

Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of our Power Platform environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Business discipline. An AS or AA degree plus four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS, or six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
Required Key Skills & Experience:

Experience developing and deploying custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, & Power BI).

Experience with SharePoint Online, including creating, configuring, and managing SharePoint Lists, as well as an understanding of SharePoint permissions and security.

Experience with Dataverse (Common Data Service), including creating and managing tables, relationships, and business rules, as well as an understanding of Dataverse security models and roles.

Familiarity with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Azure Active Directory), including an understanding of how Power Apps integrates with other Microsoft 365 services.

Experience with data modeling principles and database design with relational database concepts. Ability to design efficient and scalable data structures.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with aircraft maintenance tracking systems, as well as preventive maintenance scheduling and optimization techniques (especially depot level maintenance).

Experience with Microsoft Access, NALCOMIS/OOMA, Concerto, Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with asset management concepts and best practices, work order management systems, inventory management systems, and/or experience developing custom reports and dashboards to track key metrics.
