Office Manager – Electrical Company
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of the electrical contracting business, ensuring efficient office procedures and supporting project managers, electricians, and company leadership. This role manages scheduling, customer communications, invoicing, payroll support, vendor coordination, and document management while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies. The Office Manager serves as a central point of contact for clients, suppliers, and employees, helping to ensure projects are organized, deadlines are met, and business operations run smoothly. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential, along with proficiency in office software and accounting systems commonly used in the construction and electrical industries.
Qualifications (vary by position)
- Experience with scheduling, customer service, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management or accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Experience coordinating with field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of electrical contracting, construction processes, permitting, or project management is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
