Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Mitigation Technician to join our dedicated restoration team. In this pivotal role, you will lead mitigation efforts to address water, fire, mold, and flood damage, ensuring swift and effective responses to clients’ emergencies. Your expertise will drive the success of restoration projects, uphold safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate mitigation projects involving water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, flood recovery, and asbestos abatement.
- Oversee the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and safety protocols to ensure team safety during all operations.
- Perform emergency response readiness activities, including on-call coverage for urgent situations that require immediate action.
- Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough cleaning, debris removal, and surface preparation to facilitate effective restoration processes.
- Utilize Xactimate estimating software for project documentation and cost assessment.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members to ensure project transparency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Extensive experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage restoration, fire damage repair, mold remediation, flood recovery, and asbestos abatement.
- Strong emergency response readiness skills with the ability to act swiftly in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in operating construction tools, power tools, hand tools, and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards.
- Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
- Familiarity with Xactimate software for accurate job estimation and documentation.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
