Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral services to children and individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disabilities. In this energetic and impactful position, you will implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions, support client progress, and collaborate closely with families and clinical supervisors. Duties
- Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols under the supervision of a BCBA, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
- Conduct behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments and behavioral developmental evaluations, to inform intervention strategies.
- Collect, analyze, and document data on client behaviors accurately and consistently to monitor progress and guide treatment adjustments.
- Assist with client intake processes, including initial assessments and ongoing behavioral health evaluations.
- Support patient care by providing compassionate behavioral interventions tailored to each client’s needs, especially children with autism and other disabilities.
- Maintain detailed medical records, documentation of medical terminology, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote understanding of treatment goals and progress updates.
Requirements
- Current certification as a BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) or eligibility for certification.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavioral interventions, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical documentation procedures, medical terminology, and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Prior experience conducting behavioral health assessments and implementing behavioral development programs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical supervision framework while demonstrating patience and compassion for clients with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement.
