Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our renovation team that can be hired in as or become a Forman/Supervisor. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities and a solid understanding of construction management. Knowledge in tile work, drywall work, plumbing, electrical etc is preferred. Willing to train in certain areas. Hoping to find someone that wants to learn and excel and be part of our team for the long haul.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or deficiencies
- Provide guidance and support to construction workers on-site
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, including daily reports, work orders, and change orders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of renovation management processes, procedures, and best practices
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- 5 years of experience is preferred.
- 1 year of tile work is preferred
