We offer comprehensive psychiatric care, including medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato® (esketamine), and IV ketamine infusion therapy.
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. This role offers the opportunity to utilize advanced psychiatric assessment skills while working with cutting-edge treatment modalities that help transform patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, mental status examinations, and risk assessments.
- Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options.
- Document all patient encounters accurately using Tebra and Osmind EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Perform TMS mapping and oversee TMS treatments as needed.
- Monitor patients receiving Spravato® treatments, including assessing vital signs and managing treatment-related side effects such as nausea or elevated blood pressure.
- Evaluate patients for IV ketamine therapy to determine treatment appropriateness.
- Establish and maintain IV access and administer ketamine infusions using an IV infusion pump.
- Continuously monitor patients during ketamine infusions, including vital signs, mental status, and treatment response.
- Assess for and manage treatment-related side effects or adverse reactions.
- Administer IV or IM medications, when clinically indicated and within scope of practice, to promote patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain ACLS standards and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and clinical practice guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current Florida APRN license.
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Current ACLS certification (BLS required).
- Experience in psychiatric medication management.
- Experience with IV therapy and infusion services preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Experience with TMS, Spravato®, ketamine infusion therapy, emergency medicine, anesthesia, infusion therapy, or critical care is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Tebra, Osmind, and telehealth platforms is a plus.

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
