Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Front of House (FOH) staff members, including Hostesses, Waitstaff, and Bartenders, to create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring seamless service from greeting guests to delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail will help foster a lively and inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. All FOH positions are paid roles that play a vital part in our vibrant hospitality team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat guests efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handle cash handling duties responsibly, and balance registers at shift end.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings, spirits, and food safety standards to provide expert recommendations.
- Assist in food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for bill calculations and sales transactions; food safety and sanitation certifications are desirable.
