As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through our hotel management system.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional manner.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and relay messages to appropriate staff members.
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and enhance their stay.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel or resort front desk operations is preferred but not needed.
- Strong understanding of hospitality management principles and practices.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to handle complaints gracefully.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Proficient phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest information.
