Foxlink is expanding its business by launching a new manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Foxlink Texas Inc. will produce SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) electronic products. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, precision-engineered electronic components that power the future of technology.
As we build our operations from the ground up, we are seeking a dedicated Environmental and Safety Compliance to oversee and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations within our manufacturing operations. This role plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, sustainable workplace. It offers a unique opportunity to lead environmental initiatives, develop safety training programs from scratch, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance across the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular inspections and audits across the manufacturing floor to identify potential hazards and ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, safety, and government regulations.
- Regulatory Liaison & Waste Management: Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, successfully managing permits, licenses, and reporting requirements. Oversee hazardous waste disposal, pollution control programs, and facility recycling efforts.
- Safety Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies, operational procedures, and emergency response plans tailored to an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Risk Mitigation & Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and environmental incidents. Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Training & Education: Develop and conduct engaging training sessions to educate employees and management on safety procedures, hazardous material handling, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Proven EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong, working understanding of EPA regulations, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation law.
- Education: A relevant educational background (Bachelor's degree preferred) in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Certifications: Active certifications in First Aid and CPR are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: * Deep knowledge of occupational health practices and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) management systems.
- Demonstrated ability in professional report writing, root cause analysis methodologies, and developing effective training and development programs.
- Core Competencies: * Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough, unbiased investigations into safety or environmental incidents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex safety information to diverse audiences, from line operators to executive management.
