Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-time Math Teacher to inspire students and foster a love for mathematics. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, integrating IT-embedded lessons to enhance student engagement
- Deliver engaging instruction in core math topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, discrete math, and related fields
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs, ensuring all students achieve their full potential
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to active participation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field; higher education teaching experience preferred
- NJ Teacher's Certificate
- Proven classroom experience working with students in private or public school settings
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and implementing IT-integrated lessons effectively in the classroom
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design tailored to various learning styles
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, mentoring peers, and collaborating with educational staff.
