Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations across various departments. Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of customer service
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, providing comprehensive training and development opportunities
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize sales performance
- Oversee payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and store financials to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales
- Conduct employee orientation sessions, supervise shift management, and evaluate team performance regularly
- Maintain excellent communication with staff at all levels to foster teamwork, motivation, and a positive store culture
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, budgeting, and retail math
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills with phone etiquette proficiency and customer service excellence
- Leadership qualities with experience in team management, supervising staff, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales is preferred but not required
