Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering. The engineer will need to be skilled at diagnosing and fixing a variety of mechanical and electrical problems, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as housekeeping and front desk to ensure project successful projects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all aspects of the hotel building, including heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
- Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify needed repairs.
- Repairing or replacing broken equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to guest service calls.
- Schedule regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot any problems.
- Inspect and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including use of protective equipment and proper disposal of hazardous materials
- Participate in regular training and professional development to stay up to date on industry standards and equipment advancements.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and supplies used, and prepare reports as needed
Requirements
- Strong understanding of HVAC and Masonary.
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Previous experience in hotel related engineering projects is preferred.
