We are seeking a dedicated & skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail & delivering the highest quality care to our patients. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain patient records and ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide excellent patient care and support.
Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Coronal polishing
- Alginate and Digital scanning knowledge
- Ability to run multiple doctor columns at a time
- Able to schedule re-care and treatment appointments
- A positive, patient-focused attitude and reliable
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred
HOURS:
Monday - Thursday, 1 pm to 7 pm
Saturday 7 am to 1 pm
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
