We are seeking an experienced Senior Mold Remediation Technician who can lead crews, maintain quality standards, train junior technicians, and help ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on remediation experience who takes pride in their work, enjoys leading others, and wants to grow with a company that values quality and professionalism.
ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership
- Lead remediation crews on residential and commercial projects
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Coordinate daily project activities with management
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to scope
- Conduct jobsite inspections and quality control checks
- Maintain professional communication with customers, project managers, and subcontractors
Mold Remediation & Environmental Services
- Install containments using 6-mil plastic, zipper doors, and negative air systems
- Perform mold remediation in accordance with company procedures and industry standards
- Conduct HEPA vacuuming, detailed micro-cleaning, and antimicrobial applications
- Remove water-damaged drywall, insulation, flooring, cabinetry, and other building materials
- Perform structural cleaning and encapsulation procedures
- Operate air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums, hydroxyl generators, and specialty remediation equipment
- Assist with HVAC system cleaning, duct cleaning, and indoor air quality projects as needed
Documentation & Safety
- Complete daily job reports and project documentation
- Take before, during, and after project photographs
- Maintain equipment and company vehicles
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
QualificationsPreferred Experience
- 2–4 years of mold remediation, water damage restoration, environmental services, HVAC, construction, demolition, or related field experience
- Previous experience leading crews or supervising projects
- Strong understanding of containment setup, negative pressure, and remediation procedures
- Ability to read scopes of work and execute projects independently
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, confined spaces, and on ladders
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Professional appearance and customer service mindset
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
Preferred Certifications
- IICRC AMRT
- IICRC WRT
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Lead-Safe Certification
- HVAC or Indoor Air Quality experience
- Experience operating specialty drying and remediation equipment
