Join our vibrant + face paced team as a Host/ Maire D' where you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience! In this dynamic role, you’ll engage with guests, manage seating arrangements, and ensure that every guest feels valued and appreciated. Your enthusiasm and dedication to customer service will play a crucial role in creating memorable moments for our patrons.
What you’ll do
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating flow.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate guest needs.
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations and take out orders.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience, while assisting front of house team/management.
- Support servers by providing menus and assisting with guest requests as needed.
Basic qualifications
- Previous Customer service experience or restaurant experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha or Micros.
- Background in food service or hotel guest services is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette to ensure clear interactions.
