Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education.
- Incorporate diverse learning styles and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, including those with special education requirements or autism spectrum disorder.
- Use educational technology tools to enhance instruction and engage students in interactive learning experiences.
- Monitor and assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, standardized testing, and ongoing progress tracking.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support student development, including early intervention strategies when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance data, and lesson plans in compliance with educational regulations.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design.
- Experience integrating educational technology and learning management systems into daily lessons.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education strategies, including working with students with autism or requiring individualized support plans.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching approaches based on diverse learning styles and student needs.
- Prior experience in private or Montessori school environments is a plus.
