Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to support machine, equipment, and facility maintenance within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Perform product changeovers as needed
- Assist with general building and facility maintenance
- Support continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives
- Notify maintenance lead of major repairs or spare parts requirements
- Complete maintenance documentation and repair records accurately
- Assist production teams as needed to support operations
- Conduct quality checks and quality testing when required
- Follow all company safety policies, GMP standards, and quality procedures
- Report any food safety, quality, or regulatory concerns immediately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- General industrial maintenance experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with PLCs
- Experience setting up or troubleshooting camera/vision systems
- Electrical maintenance background
- Heat sealing process experience
- Manufacturing or packaging industry experience
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
