At Fairfield Inn & Suites, we are looking for a dedicated and professional Night Audit Associate to serve as our guests’ first point of contact. You will be a "Guest Experience Expert," responsible for more than just a smooth check-in; you will build unique and memorable experiences by anticipating guest needs and delivering personalized service throughout their entire stay.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Welcome: Greet all guests warmly with a professional demeanor and handle check-ins/check-outs efficiently.
Experience Optimization: Serve as a local expert by providing recommendations for dining, shopping, and entertainment in the Melbourne Beach area.
Administrative Excellence: Manage reservations, process payments accurately, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area.
Conflict Resolution: Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.
Communication: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready and service requests are met on time.
Financial balancing: Verifying the days transactions are properly accounted for, routed, and balanced before running the night audit.
Reporting: Running, sending, and filing nightly reporting to insure accurate and timely information is shared.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of guest service or hotel front desk experience preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency with computer systems (specifically Marriott's FOSSE or similar PMS) is a plus.
Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25–40 lbs.
