We are a 68-year experienced precast Concrete Pipe and Concrete Products producer and deliverer.
We are looking for Heavy Haul drivers to fill 3 seats in our Charlotte Michigan location. You must currently carry a CDL A driver's license and have experience in the trucking industry. We are NOT a bump and go hold the steering wheel type of hauler. This is an Other Duties as Assigned position. You will be operating modern Peterbilt 567 day cab trucks that are automatic transmission, pulling 53' 8 axle flatbeds, lowboy trailers with the ability to move up to 53' boom trailers, our desire is to have all of our drivers running booms.
Typical loads that we haul are in the 80,000# range on a daily basis and we are licensed to run up to 164,000 GVW. Over wide escort loads are common. We do not slip seat; you are assigned to your own truck and trailer(s). If for some reason we do not have a load for you to haul, then we keep you working in another area of our facility - no we do not D rate your pay for not driving that day.
We are home each night, we do haul on some Saturdays, yet never on Sunday. We are a full benefits provider, PTO, 401k matching plan and really just a gratifying place of employment if you're not looking for the same ol'route or load each day kind of driver... We build and deliver custom products with custom people!
Pay: $24.15 - $28.15 per hour
