Professional Cook (Contract, Per Diem to Part-Time)
Yadda's Cajun Kitchen is seeking an experienced and reliable cook to join our growing team.
This position will begin on a per diem (as-needed) basis and transition into a part-time position upon successful completion of training and demonstrated performance.
Requirements:
- Current Food Handlers Certification (required)
- Previous professional kitchen experience
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Experience with meal prep, catering, or high-volume cooking is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards
- Assist with meal prep and catering orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all health department regulations and food safety guidelines
- Support kitchen operations as needed
