Requirements:
The Head of Training will lead a training department that serves all clinics and business operations.
Partnering closely with leadership, the Head of Training will both design a strategy and oversee execution of a robust training system that ensures compliance, supports staff development, and results in providing excellent patient care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership

Assesses the company’s current training methods, training content, and training deployment and provides productive feedback, recommendations for improvement and solutions that align to the company’s business model and growth trajectory

Understands the training needs of the clinics by partnering with clinic leadership to optimize existing and/or other effective, interactive and scalable training solutions that drive measurable results for the business

Establishes solid cross-functional relationships with clinic/business unit leadership to determine program priorities, roll-out plans, set program deadlines and ROI analytics

Develops a team of training professionals (i.e., field trainers and instructional designers)
Training Assessment & Design

Sets and executes the vision for course design and instructional methods that are most effective in driving staff performance and customer service adoption aligned to the company’s growth trajectory

Simplifies and creates training content for easier learning acquisition and application

Designs/re-designs training curriculum for clinical roles through collaboration with clinic leadership, the Training team, and stakeholders and ensures compliance with QUADA regulations and HIPAA
Training Delivery & Effectiveness

Conducts ongoing assessments to measure program quality and effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement, maintenance and adjustment in program content/delivery to maintain pace with business growth

Designs and establish benchmarks that measure the impact and effectiveness of training and overall clinical role performance

Champions a culture of continuous learning across all levels of the organization
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Leads a high performing team of trainers and instructional designers responsible for the execution of training programs

Assesses and effects changes in the training team’s structure to meet business growth goals and objectives
Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong leadership, team building, change management, employee engagement, and employee development skills

Skilled in communicating (verbal and written) across all levels of the organization; ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization to achieve desired outcomes

Strong project management skills

Strong background in instructional design and curriculum development
Education and Experience:
-
Master’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Training & Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Psychology or related field
-
Seven plus (7+) years in developing and managing end-to-end training solutions for medium to enterprise organizations with minimum three (3) years of people management experience

Proven track record in leading organizational training; training in healthcare environment a plus

Proficient in tracking and reporting training effectiveness through data collection/analysis

Experience in managing various learning management systems (Reach 360 preferred)
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 50% travel to outside clinic locations for training purposes
