Royce U.S Protection is conducting interviews for numerous unarmed security positions for several of our retail site locations. We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. These positions require a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to emergencies.

MUST HAVE VALID OHIO DRIVERS LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Utilize CCTV systems to observe activities and identify potential security threats.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to detect any irregularities.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.
- Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding security practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of CCTV operations and monitoring systems is advantageous.
- Military experience may be considered an asset for this role.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
