■ Position Title : Project Manager
■ Languages: English (Required), Korean (Required)
■ General Responsibilities :
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, and resource plans.
- Coordinate internal departments and third-party partners to execute project deliverables.
- Monitor progress and performance to ensure successful project completion.
- Assist in managing multiple cosmetic product development projects from kick-off to commercialization.
- Support the creation and maintenance of project timelines, status trackers, and critical path schedules.
- Communicate project updates, deliverables, and milestones with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather samples, documentation, and feedback for client presentations.
- Schedule and participate in client meetings, taking detailed notes and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
- Monitor production milestones including lab batching, stability testing, component sourcing, and final production.
- Prepare documentation such as project briefs, meeting summaries, and product specification sheets.
- Help ensure compliance with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal SOPs.
- Proactively identify potential risks or delays and escalate to senior project managers as needed
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external project stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication, documentation, and expectation-setting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and address project risks; develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve project-related issues promptly; escalate as needed to maintain project continuity.
Budget & Issue Management:
- Develop, monitor, and adjust project budgets as necessary.
- Ensure financial resources are effectively allocated and tracked.
- Manage competing priorities and resource constraints efficiently.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and align cross-functional teams to project goals.
- Clearly assign tasks and responsibilities; facilitate collaboration and accountability.
- Conduct regular project meetings and post-mortems to promote learning and improvement.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure project outputs meet Kolmar’s quality, regulatory, and client standards.
- Implement project-related process controls and documentation protocols.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to all compliance requirements relevant to project deliverables.
■ Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience preferred (preferably within the cosmetics, personal care, or related CPG industries)
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and cross-departmental collaboration.
Skills:
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams, Asana, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in time management, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- Ability to quickly and amicably respond to changing client needs and conditions
- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced environment with strong multi-tasking abilities
- Comfortable working under pressure and in dynamic environments
- Interest in the beauty industry is highly desirable
