Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods for new dishes
- Collaborate with team members during service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional customer satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, knife skills, and kitchen equipment operation
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques such as sautéing, grilling, baking, and plating
- Experience with meal preparation, catering support, or fine dining environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
