As a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will bring our exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum to life through purposeful play, hands-on exploration, character development, and teacher-guided instruction. You'll help children build the academic, social, emotional, and problem-solving skills they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.

As a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will:

Implement Primrose's exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum

Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that support literacy, mathematics, science, creative arts, and social-emotional development

Foster independence, critical thinking, and kindergarten readiness skills

Support children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth through purposeful play and intentional instruction

Utilize Primrose Friends and character development lessons to teach important life skills such as kindness, responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance

Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress

Build strong relationships with families through ongoing communication and partnership

Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment

Guide children using positive behavior management techniques

Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership team members to create exceptional learning experiences

Must meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions

Ability to maintain required state in-service training

CPR and First Aid Certification preferred (training available)

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day

Basic computer and technology skills
