About Us
We are a fast-growing wholesale distributor serving Japanese restaurants, sushi bars, and grocery operators throughout Florida. We supply sashimi-grade salmon and tuna, frozen and dry goods. Our sales have increased over 20% since the beginning of the year, and as we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven Sales Representative to manage existing accounts and develop new customers.
Position Overview
The Sales Representative / Account Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with restaurant owners, chefs, and purchasing managers. This role focuses on growing sales volume, improving customer satisfaction, and managing your own customer portfolio. Prior sales experience in the Japanese restaurant or Asian food service industry is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts
- Conduct sales visits Monday–Friday (no weekends)
- Develop new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Build and maintain strong networking relationships across the market
- Collaborate effectively with team members across departments
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer notes in QuickBooks
- Drive to multiple markets as needed, including Jacksonville, Tampa, Sarasota, and surrounding areas
- Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in person
- Strong networking skills and ability to build long-term relationships
- Familiarity with Japanese food lines and products
- Experience selling to Japanese restaurants, sushi bars, or Asian food service accounts preferred
- Proven sales, account management, or business development experience
- Ability to drive into different markets as needed (Jacksonville, Tampa, Sarasota, etc.)
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and a team player
- Valid driver’s license
