Right now, we are in a building phase. Our traffic can be a total roller coaster—some shifts are an absolute whirlwind of high-energy rushes, and others are dead quiet. We don’t need shift-workers who just want to ride the wave of an already-busy spot. We need builders. We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated team members who want to help us take this shop to the next level.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Barista / Kavatender, you are the face of Banyan Breeze. You’re not just an order-taker. You are a vibe-creator and a brand ambassador.
- Craft the Perfect Pour: Brew high-quality espresso, specialty coffee drinks, and serve kava shells and tea with consistency and care.
- Own the Vibe: Keep the energy high, the music right, and the hospitality flawless. You’ll welcome regulars by name and pull newcomers into our oasis, regardless of how chaotic it is outside.
- Be a Self-Starter: When the counter is clear and things are slow, you don't check out on your phone. You take pride in keeping the space immaculate, perfecting your craft, prepping for the next rush, and engaging with the community.
- Work as a Pack: Collaborate with a tight-knit crew, communicate clearly, and support your teammates.
Who You Are:
- Naturally Energetic & Engaging: You have an upbeat, outgoing personality and genuinely enjoy building relationships with customers.
- Reliable & Driven: You show up on time, take ownership of your shifts, and take pride in your work.
- A Multi-Tasker: You can chat with a customer while perfectly steaming milk or pouring a kava shell without missing a beat.
- Coffee Experience is a plus, but passion is mandatory. We will gladly train the right person with the right attitude.
Pay & Perks:
- Hourly Base: $14.00 – $16.00 / hour (Depending on experience) + Tips
