FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR

Premier Dermatology | Aesthetics & Wellness is seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Front Office Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, creating a welcoming experience while ensuring efficient front office operations.
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.
Position Summary
The Front Office Speciallist is responsible for patient check-in and check-out processes, scheduling appointments, answering phones, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate patient information. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional patient experiences while supporting the daily operations of our dermatology, aesthetics, and wellness practice.
Responsibilities

Welcome patients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor

Check patients in and out for appointments

Review patient charts and verify that demographic, insurance, and account information is accurate and up to date

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries

Collect copays, balances, and payments for services rendered

Assist patients with insurance, billing, and account questions

Support and maintain patient loyalty and rewards programs

Contact patients via phone and text to confirm appointments and communicate scheduling updates

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities

Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Positive attitude and professional appearance

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a medical office, dermatology practice, med spa, or healthcare setting

Experience with scheduling software or electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Compensation: $16.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
