All’Antico Mercato by Visconti’s is coming soon to Leavenworth, and we’re building our opening team! Our concept is centered around three of our favorite things: handcrafted Italian-inspired sandwiches, house-made gelato, and great coffee. We are looking for friendly, dependable, hardworking people to join us in both Front of House and Back of House positions. This will be a fast-paced, hands-on environment where team members may be cross-trained in several areas of the restaurant.
What You Might Be Doing
Depending on your position and experience, responsibilities may include:
- Preparing espresso drinks, coffee, and other beverages
- Providing friendly and welcoming customer service
- Scooping and serving house-made gelato and sorbetto
- Taking guest orders and operating the point-of-sale system
- Slicing Italian meats and cheeses
- Building and preparing sandwiches
- Preparing ingredients and completing basic food prep
- Stocking and organizing workstations
- Maintaining clean and sanitary food preparation and service areas
- Washing dishes and assisting with general restaurant cleanliness
- Working alongside both Front of House and Back of House team members to keep service running smoothly
We’re Looking For People Who Are
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn and be cross-trained
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and able to follow food safety procedures
- Comfortable being on their feet for extended periods
- Excited to help open and grow a brand-new restaurant
Previous restaurant, barista, deli, kitchen, or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right people.
Positions Available
We are hiring for both:
Front of House
Customer service, register, barista, coffee preparation, gelato service, stocking, cleaning, and guest experience.
Back of House
Sandwich preparation, meat and cheese slicing, ingredient prep, stocking, food safety, dishes, cleaning, and general kitchen support.Cross-training between positions may be available and encouraged.
Pay Starting at $17.13 and up depending on experience and position.
Opportunities for wage growth are available as employees gain experience and take on additional responsibilities. All position will also receive tips.
