General Description:
The Tennis Shop Attendants provide first-class customer service while covering the tennis shop by answering all phone calls and providing helpful information, and by assisting Members and their guests in the tennis shop.
Essential Functions:

Provide outstanding service to Members and guests

Assist with retail purchases in the Tennis Pro Shop

Greet and check-in Members and guests to the tennis courts

Be diligent about monitoring court activity and online reservations

Answer phones
-
Assist with special events and tennis programs
-
Keep the Tennis Pro Shop clean and organized
-
Occasionally light maintenance on the courts, such as brooming the clay, cleaning the lines, changing water coolers, and emptying trash

Additional duties as assigned

Strong communication skills, on the phone and in-person

Background in tennis or in hospitality strongly preferred Racquet stringing experience preferred

Computer literate, including basic Microsoft Office and the ability to operate a point-of-sale system

Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs

Ability to tolerate all seasonal weather conditions
