Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Monitor and observe patients’ conditions closely, including vital signs, patient personal care needs, and behavioral changes related to neurodevelopmental disorders like autism.
- Support medication administration following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during transfers and travel.
- Document all care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and communicate effectively with team members regarding patient progress or concerns.
Skills
- Prior caregiving experience
- Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior promptly.
- Knowledge supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
- Proficiency in patient monitoring techniques such as vital signs
- Ability to perform CPR and first aid confidently; certification preferred but not required upon hire.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams effectively.
- Physical stamina.

Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
