POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
The Referral Specialist is responsible for the internal coordination of patient referrals. This includes gathering patient medical records from outside sources and distributing medical record information to nursing and therapy staff. This specialist manages the Home Health Aide schedule and is the primary customer service provider in the front office. Performs various clerical duties as needed including ordering of supplies and filing of medical record information.
