Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, following curriculum, and supporting the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years. At All Star Learning Academy, we are not just Daycare workers, we strive to be Early Childhood Educators in our Preschool Environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promotes literacy, math, and physical education.
- Follow lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with management and parents regarding student's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare.
Experience - While we are always willing and able to train the right candidate, the following experience is a plus for this position:
- College degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessments is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
