Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all standards are met or exceeded.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities to provide a fresh experience for each guest.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the room surfaces.
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently, including waste removal and deep cleaning of fixtures and furniture when necessary.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality by attending to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards, reporting issues immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning procedures and hospitality standards.
- Experience with industrial cleaning tools and floor care equipment enhances your ability to perform duties efficiently.
- Knowledge of janitorial practices and custodial management contributes to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
